This site was created with a few main goals in mind:
- Being easy to update from any device which I own
- Cheap to host, without reliance on ‘free’ services
- Stable, with ease of updating and upgrading
- Storing my writing in a domain which I own and control
- Allowing me to learn more about linux server management through practice
- Easy, simple backups
